Passwords complexity requirements are now enforced. User passwords must meet the following requirements:

The password is at least 8 characters long.

The password contains characters from at least three of the following five categories:

  • English uppercase characters (A - Z)
  • English lowercase characters (a - z)
  • Base 10 digits (0 - 9)
  • Non-alphanumeric (for example: !, $, #, or %)
  • Unicode characters
The password must not contain three or more characters from the user's account name.

Examples of stronger passwords include:

  • t3wahSetyeT4
  • 4pRte!ai@3
  • #3kLfN2x
  • MoOoOfIn245679

 

 

Examples of weak passwords includes:

  • admin
  • 1234
  • susan
  • password
  • rover
  • 12/3/75
  • nbusr123
